Weekly Jobless Claims Report

1. The weekly report on Initial Jobless Claims was down 6k from the week before to 439k, close to the forecast for the week ended March 27.
2. Continuing Claims were also down 6k, to 4.662 million for the week ended March 20
3. The Federal extended and emergency claims programs rose a combined 264k to 6.031 million for the week ended March 13.
